Organizational Unit Overview The mission of the College of Education is the preparation of professional educators and allied practitioners. The strategic plan focuses on increasing enrollments, expanding study‑away opportunities, boosting graduation rates, and reducing student debt for graduate and undergraduate students.

Job Duties

Teach online and/or face‑to‑face graduate courses that align with behavior analytic content, including evenings as required.

Hold office hours to support students.

Contribute to the development of a program leading to BCBA certification.

Participate in interdepartmental collaboration between Special Education and Psychology on curriculum revisions.

Supervise clinical hours and develop/maintain strong community partners.

Communicate with graduate school, perform admission‑related tasks, and engage in program, departmental, and college service responsibilities and committee work.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Position is contingent upon availability of funds.

Minimum Education/Experience Doctoral degree with a focus in Applied Behavior Analysis; proven history of supporting trainees or students in learning and applying behavior analytic content. All degrees must be from appropriately accredited institutions.

License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation

Current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or BCBA‑D certification in good standing with the BACB.

Licensed or license‑eligible as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in North Carolina.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education Teaching experience in higher education; at least three years of teaching in public schools or clinical experience applying behavior analytic practices; experience developing and teaching online, asynchronous instruction.
