Overview
Indiana University Health is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our outpatient pain management team at Methodist Medical Plaza North. The ideal candidate has a minimum of one year of RN experience and is fully eligible for a sign‑on bonus (amount depends on FTE). Recent graduates or upcoming nurse graduates are encouraged to apply through the IU Health Talent Acquisition pipeline, which matches new talent with the best opportunities.
The RN will provide and coordinate evidence‑based care across the continuum—including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to advance patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include symptom‑management, direct in‑clinic patient care, telehealth interactions, and quality‑improvement activities. All duties are performed in accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing, the Code of Ethics for Nurses, and related local policies.
Qualifications
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Active RN license in Indiana or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Optional advanced life‑support certifications as required by unit/department policies.
Ability to assess patients without face‑to‑face interaction.
Strong awareness of the legal implications of patient care activities and the responsibilities of a Registered Nurse.
