at supports students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral well‑being. The role focuses on helping students overcome challenges that affect learning and development, while collaborating closely with teachers, parents, counselors, and administrators to create a safe and supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify learning difficulties, behavioral issues, or special education needs.
Provide individual or group counseling to support social‑emotional development, coping skills, conflict resolution, and behavior management.
Develop intervention plans to improve students’ academic performance, classroom behavior, and mental health.
Consult with teachers and families to support student success and recommend instructional or behavioral strategies.
Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, contributing evaluation findings and recommendations.
Assist in crisis intervention, safety planning, and school‑wide mental health initiatives.
Promote positive school climate through social‑emotional learning programs and preventive behavior support.
