Direct Support Professional – Steger
Base pay: $19.00/hr – $20.00/hr. Salary based on skills and experience.

Job Summary Providing support and supervision to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a residential setting. Collaborating with the House Supervisor to facilitate day‑to‑day services and empower consumers to take ownership of their homes and community participation.
Shift Schedule
Overnight – Sunday 8 PM to 8:30 AM
Every other Wednesday – 11 PM to 8:30 AM
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED recognized by the Illinois Department of Human Services.
One year of experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred).
Valid Illinois driver’s license with a clean driving record (no violations in past 5 years).
Demonstrated 8th‑grade reading level per standardized testing.
Completion of all required DSP training within 120 days of hire and maintenance of certifications, including Medication Administration.
Willingness to work in other CILA homes as needed.
