TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly attentive and skilled Registered Nurse - Tele to care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and intermediate‑level medical attention. The Tele RN plays a critical role in detecting subtle changes in patients' conditions and coordinating care in a telemetry unit.
Job Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring for cardiac and medical conditions.
Continuously assess cardiac rhythms and alert physicians to significant changes or arrhythmias.
Administer medications, monitor IVs, and manage treatments per provider orders.
Interpret telemetry strips and collaborate with telemetry techs and the care team for appropriate interventions.
Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and discharge instructions.
Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the EHR.
Promote patient safety and follow evidence‑based clinical protocols.
Qualifications
Active RN license in good standing.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
Minimum 1 year of telemetry or cardiac nursing experience preferred.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Proficient in reading EKGs and recognizing common cardiac arrhythmias.
Strong communication and clinical decision‑making skills.
