Ascension
Travel Radiology Technologist position within the Associate Travel Program. This position is a permanent, full‑time assignment of 8–13 weeks, with opportunities for extension.

Weekly Travel Rate: up to $1,845–$2,769
Schedule: Multiple shifts available, 40 hours per week
Location: Local and national travel options available depending on need

Responsibilities
Take radiologic films and provide quality images to physicians.
Prepare and position patients for imaging, select exposure factors accurately.
Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice and regulations.
Observe patients during procedures, report abnormal activity, monitor protocols and recommend updates.
Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines; prevent unnecessary radiation exposure.
Ensure prompt submission of high‑quality images and documents to PACS, correct lead markers, patient data/history.
Ensure equipment is functioning; report problems or malfunction; lock/tag out if required.
Maintain a clean, orderly department (procedure rooms, storage, dressing rooms, film storage).
Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
Requirements
BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire.
One of the following credentials:
Cardiographic Technician credentialed from CCI.
Radiology Technician credential.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from ARRT.
Medical Sonographer credentialed from ARDMS.
Education
High school diploma equivalency with 2 years cumulative experience OR associate’s or technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job‑specific experience.
Additional Preferences
One year recent experience in Radiology Unit strongly preferred.
Travel stipend possible for sites over 50+ miles from permanent residence.
