Job Summary
Up to $2,000 Sign on Bonus
Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Speech Language Pathologist to our Acute Care Rehab Team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full‑time opportunity working a days schedule at our Downtown campus. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in Modified Barium Swallow Studies in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
Evaluates and treats patients of all diagnoses.
Provides extensive patient/family education.
Participates in multidisciplinary team care with nursing, physicians, dietitians, social services, respiratory, support staff, and other rehab professionals.
Works in a fast‑paced setting requiring good time management, detailed documentation in the EMR, self‑directed initiative, and effective communication skills.

Master's Degree

Experience
Preferred: 1 or more years of experience working in an Acute Care setting.
Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies.
License and Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
Licensed Speech Language Pathologist Required.
ASHA certification Required.
