Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients admitted for acute psychiatric treatment for both adults and adolescents.
Administer medications & manage behavioral interventions per patient care plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in daily huddles, treatment planning & risk assessment.
Maintain accurate & timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
Attend required orientation, trainings & continuing education to maintain nursing licensure.
Qualifications
Verifiable Alabama RN license.
Prior nursing experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting (one year preferred).
Strong communication skills & ability to work in a fast‑paced inpatient environment.
Must successfully pass background check & drug screen.
Required to attend eight‑business‑day orientation (Mon‑Fri 8:00‑4:00) and ongoing orientation as needed.
