Shift 3 – 2115-0715 (Weekends)
Job Summary:
Performs the receptionist and clerical duties on the patient care areas. Coordinates patient information and communication for the department and is responsible for maintaining accurate medical records. Reports to the Nurse Manager of the assigned unit and the RN's on duty for their assigned shift. Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Minimum 6 months experience as a Health Unit Coordinator preferred.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Completion of formal Health Unit Coordinator training program preferred.
Training:
Additional Training in Communication Skills required.
Special Skills:
Ability to adapt to changes in a fast paced work environment; exemplary telephone etiquette and customer service skills; analytical skills to gather and interpret routine data, maintain semi-complex records and organize work; clear communication; working knowledge of Windows office systems and office equipment.
