About This Role The Mental Health Professional works under the supervision of the Mental Health Coordinator, Clinical Supervisor, or Mental Health Director. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence‑based psychotherapeutic interventions. The role also involves mental health consultation and staff training.

Additional Details

PRN, as needed; minimum 4 shifts per month, including 1 weekend shift.

Flat rate: $56.42 per hour.

Must hold an active license in the state and maintain CPR certification and any other required certifications.

What You Bring To The Table

Education : Master’s degree in a behavioral or social science field from an accredited institution.

Experience : Coursework and professional experience that demonstrate knowledge of mental health counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, psychological assessment techniques, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation.

Licenses/Certifications : LMSW, LPC, or similar licensure from the appropriate state board; must maintain CPR certification and any other certifications required.

What You Will Do

Provide clinical services—including individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and diagnostic evaluations—in compliance with policies and professional standards.

Complete clinical documentation, such as service reports and treatment records, in a timely and professional manner.

Offer consultation services to institutional staff, including screening committees and psychiatric staff, regarding mental status and management of patients.

Participate in staff meetings, in‑service training programs, and specialized clinical services and/or program development activities.

Maintain accountability for services through participation in the Quality Improvement program and accurate recording of activities.
