Job Summary We are seeking a Lab Technologist to grow with the company, contributing to our company goals and meeting customer needs. The Lab Technologist will perform hands‑on commercial sample assays, support production activities by developing QC protocols and maintain/establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with compliance with ISO 9001 and 17025 standards.
Essential Functions
Perform bioanalytical assays including Endotoxin, Mycoplasma and Sterility tests to generate analysis report as directed by Senior Scientist.
Maintain and establish SOPs and safety standards on bioanalytical assays complying with ISO 17025.
Support ELISA kits production process by involving in hand‑on testing process and developing QC protocols.
Prepare and manage lab supplies, reagents, buffers, and samples according to standard procedures.
Support supervisor, project leaders, and other professional staff in optimizing experimental procedures and troubleshooting assays.
Assist in annual ISO 9001 and 17025 internal and external audits.
Maintain laboratory in a clean, organized and functional state.
Schedule and/or perform equipment maintenance/calibration as needed.
Undertake other potential projects or responsibilities as required to grow the lab team.
Minimum Qualifications – Education And Experience
B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.
Hands‑on experience in molecular biology or immunology laboratory techniques, e.g. ELISA (sample preparation, plate coating, and data analysis), qPCR, TR‑FRET, Western blot, etc.
Minimum 1‑2 years of industry and academia working experience.
Preferred Qualifications – Education And Experience
Prior work in a regulated lab environment (GLP/ ISO9001/ISO17025) is advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong ELISA and/or TR‑FRET experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Ability to follow advanced laboratory instructions and safety requirements.
Ability to demonstrate excellent efficiency and time management skills.
Effective communication skills for reporting results and documenting procedures.
Self‑starter, detail and results oriented, able to multi‑task.
Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
Salary Range
DOE $60,000-$80,000 plus bonus
Work Environment & Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a laboratory environment with occasional data entry on a computer. Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear.
