Key Responsibilities
Under RN supervision, assess patients’ physical, psychological, and social dimensions in health‑care and housing units; contribute to individualized treatment planning and consult with staff as needed.
Implement treatment programs directed by health‑care practitioners, administer medications (including IV therapy if certified), and perform diagnostic tests per protocols.
Collaborate in controlled substance counts at shift starts, adhere to safety procedures, and respond to codes or health emergencies within guidelines.
Assist in medical or minor surgical procedures, implement nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and document nursing encounters using SOAP charting.
Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions, demonstrating commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to policies, to provide high‑quality patient care.
Additional Details 0.9 FTE, 3 shifts weekly: 1830-0700. Rotating weekend and holiday shifts.
Qualifications & Requirements Education
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience
Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.
Licenses/Certifications
Current licensed LPN/LVN in the state of employment.
Must obtain and maintain CPR certification.
