Pay: $18.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
DENTAL ASSISTANT We believe excellence is in the details! We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing team.
We are a large, private dental practice with 4 full-time doctors who hold themselves to the highest standards of dentistry and patient care. Our office is modern, state-of-the-art, and we practice comprehensive dentistry including general, cosmetic, periodontal, and implant dentistry. Our patients seek us out for quality, comfort, and exceptional results—and we are known in our community as the place to go!
We are looking for a Dental Assistant who takes pride in their work, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing the highest level of care to our patients. This individual must be a team player, a quick learner, and confident working independently while supporting doctors and fellow team members.
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
Pay: Varies with experience
Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Chairside assisting during dental procedures including general, cosmetic, periodontal, and implant dentistry.
Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures.
Taking and processing digital dental radiographs.
Assisting doctors during procedures by anticipating needs and maintaining a smooth workflow.
Educating patients on post-operative instructions, oral hygiene, and treatment plans as directed by the doctor.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked operatory.
Ensuring proper infection control and OSHA compliance at all times.
Accurately documenting patient care and treatment notes in dental software (Eaglesoft).
Supporting sterilization and operatory turnover as needed.
Providing exceptional patient care and ensuring patient comfort throughout visits.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Working Knowledge of:
Chairside dental assisting procedures and techniques
Dental instruments, materials, and equipment
Digital radiography
OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control guidelines
Dental terminology and charting
Basic computer and dental software systems
Skill to:
Assist efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and team members
Anticipate doctor needs during procedures
Maintain strict patient confidentiality
Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
WORKING CONDITIONS Possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens and potentially hazardous materials. Must adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum qualifications are used as a guide for establishing the minimum experience, education, licensure, and/or certifications required for employment.
* N20 Certification and RDA license required*
