A Clinical Instructor position is currently available in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Responsibilities include focus on glaucoma, patient care, research, resident teaching and supervision, as well as teaching medical students. This position will serve patients at both the UNC Kittner Eye Center, located 2226 Nelson Hwy, Ste. 200, Chapel Hill, NC and at various other clinical sites owned by UNC Eye. Rank, career track, and salary are commensurate with experience. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Prerequisites include an MD or DO degree and successful graduation from an approved ophthalmology residency-training program. Demonstration of excellence in all scholarly and training activities. Qualifications include board certification or eligibility, and eligibility for licensure in North Carolina. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

Prior experience in academic medicine and working as a part of a high-performing clinical team. Campus Security Authority Responsibilities
