What You’ll Do as an Occupational Therapist
Evaluate residents’ abilities and design individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide therapy focused on improving self‑care, mobility, and independence in daily activities
Document resident progress, update plans, and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
Educate residents and families on therapy goals, adaptive techniques, and safe practices
Ensure all occupational therapy services meet Ohio regulations and Kingston’s quality standards
What You’ll Need
Active Ohio Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Prior experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long‑term care preferred (new graduates welcome)
Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills
Compassionate approach with a resident‑first mindset
Ability to thrive independently and as part of a collaborative care team
