Position Overview

RéVive Skincare, a leading luxury American skincare brand rooted in groundbreaking biotechnology. We are seeking an experienced Formulation Chemist to support the R&D director to establish and lead our first US-based R&D Center in New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities Innovative Formula Development Design, develop, and test new skin care formulas to drive the innovation pipeline and meet business objectives.

Formula Improvement & Optimization Enhance and update existing formulas in response to market trends, customer feedback, and input from sales, marketing, and management teams.

Documentation & Data Management Create and maintain comprehensive formula sheets and technical data sheets for all developed and updated formulas.

Efficacy Studies,Stability & Safety Testing Plan, coordinate, and execute efficacy studies to validate product performance and claims. Conduct stability tests on new and existing formulas, ingredients, and vendor-supplied materials to verify shelf life and ensure product quality. Manage safety studies including HRIPT, Micro PET, texture evaluation, foam testing, spray pattern assessment.

Regulatory Compliance Collaborate with the Regulatory team to ensure all formulas comply with global regulations and standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, Business Development, and other departments, serving as a key partner in cross-functional projects. Provide technical and laboratory support to internal teams and customers.

Competitive Analysis & Ingredient Evaluation Analyze and evaluate competitive products, and generate formulas for ingredient testing and benchmarking.

Quality Assurance & Problem Solving Design and conduct experiments to address and resolve product quality complaints.

Scale-Up and Technology Transfer: Conduct pilot batches to establish and optimize the mass production process, and seamlessly transfer production protocols to the manufacturer.

Qualifications 5+ years of previous skincare formulation experience

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field

Extensive knowledge of formulation science

Strong time and project management skills

Knowledge of rules and regulations (FDA, NMPA, PCPC,EU) for formulation

Knowledge of and ability to assist in scale-up and manufacturing process

Strong problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
