Please visit AlchemyTherapy.org/associateship for application instructions.
The two-year associateship training program at Alchemy provides pre-licensed therapists with an opportunity to receive training in a small cohort environment while supporting Alchemy’s mission of equitable psychedelic therapy. Alchemy’s training highlights the following approaches: psychedelic assisted therapy, depth psychotherapy, harm reduction, social justice, trauma-informed care.
All associates will be required to work 12 clinical hours on average a week for 2 years. Associates will be paid $18/hr for every hour they work in the first year (including supervision, training, documentation, etc). In addition, any clinical hours that go over 24 hours in a 2-week pay period are paid out at $50/hr. Alchemy aims to increase pay as our financial resources allow.
We plan to hire a small cohort to begin sometime in February 2026, and are reviewing applications starting December 15, 2025.
We'll be meeting
Fridays from 9:45am-1pm
as a cohort, and everyone will be assigned to a group supervision ( Tuesdays from 10am-noon or 3‑5pm ) as well as weekly individual supervision.
Associateship applicants should keep in mind that it takes on average a year to be trained in Alchemy's model to be approved to begin offering ketamine assisted therapy, though the timeline is dependent on skill development and assessment and may take longer. We prioritize offering training in relational and trauma-informed therapy as the foundation of our model to make sure therapists feel confident in their ability to support our diverse client population before adding on the more advanced intervention of KAT.
While we typically have a relatively steady flow of intakes, therapists will also be expected to take some initiative with marketing to build up to a full caseload.
Seniority Level:
Internship
Employment Type:
Part-time
Job Function:
Health Care Provider
