Job Summary The CT Technologist provides CT imaging for patients to assist physicians in expediting needed care. Duties include performing diagnostic and interventional procedures per department protocols, providing feedback on image quality, addressing customer needs based on age, service, and disease criteria, and using proper procedures for patient identification.
Maintaining patient efficiency by spending the most appropriate amount of time for each task and interaction is essential. Adhering to the UK HealthCare Values, preserving privacy and confidentiality, and assisting in quality assurance reviews are also core responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic and interventional CT procedures.
Provide image feedback and improve image acquisition as needed.
Address customer needs using age‑specific, service‑specific, and disease‑specific criteria.
Identify patients following proper procedures.
Assist in QA reviews to maintain professional standards.
Maintain patient efficiency and confidentiality.
Qualifications
AA degree.
0 years of related experience.
ARRT certification and Kentucky State Radiation Operators License.
Basic Life Support certification within 90 days.
Computed Tomography (CT) certification within one year.
Excellent communication skills.
CT experience and patient care experience.
Benefits & Requirements Starting pay adjusted: minimum hourly rate $29.95/hour, based on experience.
Night shift schedule.
