Radiology Technologist – Bone Density (Part‑Time, Day Shift)
Providence Milwaukie Hospital is seeking a competent Radiology Technologist to perform bone density imaging examinations in a safe, efficient manner while supporting our patient‑focused culture. The position is located in Milwaukie, OR, and offers a competitive pay range of $35.32–$54.82 per hour, shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, and bonus opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Perform imaging examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated imaging equipment.
Apply clinical knowledge and judgment for proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient care to produce optimal high‑quality images.
Operate with minimal radiation exposure, adhering to ALARA principles.
Required Qualifications
Education that meets certification, license, or registration requirements.
Oregon Radiographer License (at hire) or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License.
National Certification from ACRS within 180 days of hire.
National Provider BLS from American Heart Association (at hire).
New graduates must hold an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.
