Radiology Technologist - Bone Density
The Radiology Technologist – Bone Density performs specialized imaging examinations using advanced equipment to capture high‑quality bone density images while minimizing radiation exposure. The role requires relevant certifications and licenses, such as the Oregon Radiographer License and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification. Full‑time, day shift – Tuesday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Sign‑on bonus: $6,000 for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment. Responsibilities
The primary focus of this Radiology Technologist is bone density, performing imaging examinations according to physician’s orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment, taking into account individual patients’ unique and/or age‑related needs. Utilizes clinical knowledge and judgment in regard to proper positioning factors, radiation dose calibration of technique, and patient treatment needed to produce optimal high‑quality images. Performs all examinations with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator with ALARA awareness. Required Qualifications
Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License. Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire. Benefits
