Overview Sentara Norfolk General 6K Medicine Unit is hiring a

Contract Traveler RN - Med Surg

for a third (night) shift. Hourly rate: $65.

Responsibilities

Provide acute care for a diverse patient population including cardiac, renal failure, vascular, sepsis, pneumonia, sickle cell, OR prep, and wound care.

Chart patient care in EPIC real‑time documentation and use bedside blood pressure machines.

Collaborate with nursing team on a 24‑bed Medicine unit equipped with new computers and charting stations.

Qualifications

Associate, Bachelor, Master, or diploma in Nursing.

Virginia or Compact Multi‑State RN license in good standing.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Minimum 2 years recent acute‑care RN Med/Surg experience.
