COMPENSATION & LOCATION
The compensation range for this role is $21.00‑$23.00/hr, based on a combination of factors including skills, experience, and qualifications. This hybrid position is based out of our Elk Grove Village, Illinois pharmacy and requires 2‑3 days onsite. There may be overnight travel for customer and internal meetings, although limited.
Position Summary
Under supervision of the Nursing Coordinator Supervisor, the co‑ordinator identifies, sources, and pre‑qualifies—or retains previously qualified—infusion nurses for Orsini home‑infusion patients. The role prioritizes urgent staffing needs and ensures timely medication‑administration starts for new patients. It maintains communication via phone and email with home‑health agencies and independent nurses, provides status updates to internal departments, and escalates urgent issues to the Nursing Coordinator Supervisor or Clinical Nurse Manager. The co‑ordinator maintains accurate records in the appropriate systems and ensures documents are returned to agencies or independent nurses as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Sourcing Nursing Agencies and Independent Nurses; performing pre‑qualification screening for all Orsini complex therapies with nursing.
Verifying agencies and nurses have provided all required documents and agreements to perform Orsini patient services for home infusion.
Managing call volume for inbound and outbound calls and timely responses to emails.
Participating in patient new starts and providing status updates to therapy teams.
Updating the master schedule of nursing visits for the ONA.
Assisting with initiation of home‑health agreements and monthly metric reports.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & TRAINING
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years as Nursing Care Coordinator or in a related role.
Paralegal certification (CNA, LPN, Pharmacy Technician, or MA) preferred.
Ability to work in a team environment and support other team members.
Understanding of medical terminology related to nursing.
Experience in a medical office or home‑health agency required; pharmacy knowledge preferred.
Knowledge of Illinois State Administrative Code within 6 months of hire.
Knowledge of ONA policy and procedures within 6 months of hire.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Strong interpersonal and inter‑departmental customer‑service skills.
