1/5/2026 TravelNurseSource is partnering with Care Career to find a qualified CVICU RN in Urbana, IL. The CVICU RN will provide comprehensive cardiac care in an adult critical care unit, including monitoring, support for cardiac device therapies, collaboration with the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and response to cardiac/respiratory arrests. The RN will also offer emotional support and education for patients and families. Responsibilities
Intensive monitoring of patients with primary cardiac diagnoses. Care for patients requiring intra‑aortic balloon pumps, temporary pacemakers, and continuous renal replacement therapy. Collaborate with the Cardiac Catheterization Lab for rapid diagnosis and treatment of ST‑elevation myocardial infarction. Respond to all cardiac and respiratory arrests and assist with immediate treatment. Provide emotional support, education, and guidance on post‑treatment home care needs for patients and families. Requirements
CVICU – Skills Core Mandatory Exam – Nursing Core Mandatory Part II (Nursing) RN – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) RN – Pharmacology A RN – State License RN – Cardiovascular ICU A
