We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you’ll be an integral member of a forward-thinking clinical team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and service in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Certified Medical Assistant Essential Responsibilities
Obtain and record patient medical histories and vital signs
Prepare patients for examination and assist during exams and procedures
Perform point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and lab preparation
Maintain accurate electronic health records and complete documentation
Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, verifying insurance, scheduling, and processing referrals
Maintain medical supply inventory and perform equipment upkeep
Prepare and disinfect examination and treatment rooms
Provide patient education and transmit physician instructions
Support compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all healthcare regulations
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Certified Medical Assistant Required Skills & Abilities
Strong understanding of medical procedures, terminology, and administrative functions
Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail and organizational ability
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
