The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing high quality direct patient care and assisting providers and other clinical staff with patient care and other clinical and administrative duties in a professional manner.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities
Ability to competently and skillfully perform all clinical and clerical functions
Organized and detailed oriented
Prepares exam rooms and maintains supplies
Taking Vital signs, electronic documentation, answering phones
Performs EKG, PFT
Requirements Knowledge and Skills Required
Ability to interact effectively and in a supportive manner with varying populations
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations including HIPPA, OSHA, etc.
Familiarity with medical terminology
Must be available to work on weekends
Education and Experience
High School Diploma, GED
Medical Assistant Certification
one year of prior experience in a medical setting preferred
