Infusion RN – Grandview, El Paso, TX Maryland Oncology Hematology is hiring an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Grandview location in El Paso, TX. This is a full‑time Monday‑Friday (8:00 am‑5:00 pm) position with no weekend, on‑call, or major holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.

Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional materials.

Prepare and administer therapies under physician supervision.

Administer all medications/blood products using correct medication, dosage, route, time, and technique.

Assure pre‑authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained before therapies.

Facilitate dose modification by assessing patient, labs, consulting protocols or treatment plans, calculating dose, and collaborating with the physician regarding dosage changes, problems, and symptom management.

Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheter devices.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments.

Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.

Minimum 0‑3 years of RN experience; open to entry, mid, or senior level candidates.

Current RN state license in the practicing state.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Working Conditions The work environment includes exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic setting. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Physical Requirements Full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients; manual and finger dexterity; eye‑hand coordination; standing and walking for extended periods; occasional lifting and carrying up to 40 lb. Corrected vision and hearing to normal range required.
