PRN Option #4 Commitment : Unit-Based RN work - 72 hours every 4 weeks ($50/hr), including 3/12-hour weekend shifts/4 weeks, one major holiday and two difficult to fill shifts.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements

An Associate Degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor of Science from a College of Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

BSN is required within 5 years from date of hire or transfer into a Clinical Nursing position.

Current Maryland Registered Nurse licensure is required prior to beginning orientation.

At least 2 years of ED RN experience is required.

If there is gap in applied nursing experience of 5 years or more, successful completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months is required.

Professional Certification is highly encouraged.

American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required upon hire.

Must meet all unit-specific certification requirements (PALS, ACLS, NRP).

Compensation

Pay Range: $50/hr flat rate.

Other Compensation (if applicable): Eligible for Shift Differential
