Our busy dental practice is growing, and we need someone who can provide high-quality dental services to clients and assist our dentists and dental hygienists with examinations and dental procedures.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists and dental hygienists during any procedures or examinations by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team
Equip and prepare treatment rooms for examination and procedures by laying out necessary sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials
Measure and document vital signs and update medical history for patients
Schedule appointments for patient care follow up, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums, after procedures
Greet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during the appointment
Qualifications
Proficiency with computers, and experience updating patient histories, and with dental software is necessary
Strong interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are essential
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Compensation $22 - $25 hourly
