In this role you will work with students who attend school in Aston, PA. You will support students with their emotional needs and behavioral needs throughout the school day to include the classroom, specials, recess and lunch. In this position you will work directly under the supervision of a BCBA, who will develop best practice strategies for working with the students.
We will provide training for RBT credential (if not currently certified) and are interested in this career path!

School‑Based Hours 8:00-3:30
Competitive Pay21 - $25 per hour
(based on experience/education)

ASCEND
– Career Accelerator Program will help pay back student loans and pay for continuing education. BCBA supervision hours are also available.

Responsibilities In this role you will:
Assist the teacher of the classroom.
Implement school‑wide PBIS program (point system).
Assist in conducting functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs).
Communicate with the team about student progress.
Qualifications Education : High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited college/university in special education, psychology or other related field; RBT certification strongly preferred. Will consider candidates in process to complete RBT Certification.
Experience : Must have one year of experience working directly with children or adolescents who experience behavioral challenges. Experience with crisis intervention/CPI Safety certification preferred. Previous RBT experience preferred, but training and supervision will be provided. Must have reliable transportation and the ability to handle crisis level behavior.
