About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE Specialist to join our Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) HSE Center of Excellence Team and support the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of our HSE programs. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in HSE principles and play a pivotal role in safeguarding the well‑being of employees and ensuring compliance with regulations while supporting a dedicated team of HSE professionals. This position will report directly to the ESS HSE Center of Excellence Leader and will be based at one of our ESS locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of HSE policies, procedures, and systems in line with company and regulatory requirements.

Conduct and/or support risk assessments, incident investigations, safety audits, and compliance inspections.

Assist in the preparation and maintenance HSE training materials.

Maintain accurate records and reports in alignment with internal and external HSE requirements.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.

Manage and update documentation via Microsoft SharePoint and other digital platforms.

Utilize the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for reporting, analysis, and drafting presentations.

Monitor performance metrics and support the implementation of corrective/preventive actions.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field and/or 3 years of relevant experience in an HSE role, preferably in industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments.

Familiarization with HSE regulatory frameworks and management systems (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Experience using Microsoft SharePoint for document control and collaboration.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across teams.
