From the simplest to the most complex IT environments for all types of workloads, our servers, storage, networking, and solutions help maximize data centers' potential. What You’ll Do The Global Manufacturing Engineer (GME) will be required to work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, production supervisors, quality control personnel, and supply chain managers. Their primary responsibility will be to optimize production processes, reduce costs, improve product quality, and enhance overall operational efficiency within a manufacturing facility. Responsibilities The GME will be responsible for managing the product elements: Process Design: They create and optimize manufacturing processes, considering factors such as workflow, material flow, equipment selection, and production layout. Support rapid corrective action to address issues at the sites regarding the Mfg. build process. Ensure no GME gating issue impacts customers, MFG, schedules, or CSP/NW/GP eFAI approvals. Support the NUDD/DFX review in time and follow the steps and schedules of the Dev process. Timely work and close with effective solutions to issues during NPI phases Manufacturing engineers ensure that products meet quality standards by implementing quality control processes and inspection methods. Continuous Improvement: They identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and increase efficiency. This may involve implementing lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, or other improvement frameworks. Equipment and Tooling: They select, and design appropriate equipment, tools, and fixtures required for manufacturing processes Position Requirements: Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 2 to 5 years of Manufacturing experience English language skills are required (Spanish language is a Plus) Good with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office 365 software Focus on customers and positive results Preferred Requirements: Six Sigma is a Plus Power BI is a Plus Experience with assembly manufacturing process development and definition and input to Bill of Material (BOM) Knowledge of manufacturing engineering processes and methodologies Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities Strong verbal and written communication with strong attention to detail Strong organization, coordination, and project management skills with a strong sense of ownership Flexibility to work some evening hours Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed 10% to 25% Team player attitude with the ability to work proactively & autonomously Ability to work in cross-functional and multi-cultural environments This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, including Optional Practical Training (OPT) or Curricular Practical Training (CPT).
