A Night Auditor / Stay Experience Agent is responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting, and balancing of daily financial transactions and providing customer service to our guests, supporting the hotel's financial profitability and guest service excellence.
Responsibilities
Audit, post and balance daily cashiers' work for outlets including Rooms and Food & Beverage.
Ensure credit card system reconciles to daily transaction lists.
Schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members.
Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance.
Greet guests and complete the registration process: inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirming guest information and room rate, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, providing a welcome packet, and ensuring guests know the location of the room or are accompanied by a bell person.
Assist guests with check‑out: ensure rooms and services are correctly accounted, use the point‑of‑sale system, handle money, process credit and debit cards, accept and record various forms of payment, convert foreign currency, make change, and process gift certificates and cards.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, local area, and other general product knowledge; answer guest questions and inquiries.
Use up‑selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities to maximize room occupancy.
Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
Field guest complaints, conduct research, resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.
Receive, input, retrieve and relay messages to guests.
Assist guests with luggage: tag luggage and take to/from room.
Assign rooms and create reservations.
Receive, log and distribute packages for guests and hotel.
May drive guests using hotel shuttle to local areas (shopping) as needed.
Any additional tasks as needed to provide excellent guest service and create memorable experiences.
The hourly rate is $29 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
