Infosys is seeking a Senior
Mainframe developer
who has worked on Mainframe, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2 (Stored procedures, Native SP, SQL). This position will primarily be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders, applying technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; playing an important role in creating high-level design artifacts; delivering high‑quality code deliverables for a module, leading validation for all types of testing and supporting activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of any of the mentioned locations: Hartford, CT; Richardson, TX; Tempe, AZ; Raleigh, NC; or Indianapolis, IN, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the USA.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
Experience working in Mainframe, COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM.
Experience working in DB2 (Stored procedures, Native SP, SQL).
Experience in COBOL, CICS and DB2.

Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare Domain experience is preferred.
Strong analytical & design skills.
Ability to lead activities related to requirements elicitation, creation and review of design, provide pseudo code to the team, assign and review tasks, and mentor individuals.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
