What You’ll Do
Build, scale, and maintain Affiniti’s core financial automation platform used by thousands of SMBs nationwide.
Own end-to-end feature development across backend services, APIs, and front-end interfaces.
Design, optimize, and evolve
SQL database schemas
to ensure scalability and data integrity.
Collaborate with founders and cross-functional teammates to ship fast, iterate quickly, and deliver measurable value to users.
Operate in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment — you’ll shape technical architecture, product decisions, and engineering culture from the ground up.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience as a
Full-stack Software Engineer , ideally with exposure to early-stage startups or high-growth environments.
Prior experience at a
VC-backed tech or SaaS company
or a
top quantitative firm .
Former
founding engineer or founder
experience strongly preferred — someone comfortable with ambiguity and scaling from zero to one.
Top 25 Computer Science undergraduate degrees
with strong academic fundamentals.
Completed
SWE internships
during undergrad (demonstrating consistent technical growth).
Deep proficiency in
JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, and GCP .
Extensive experience designing and managing
SQL database schemas .
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence product direction and strategy.
