Position Summary
The client is looking for a System Administrator (SA), Level IItomaintain and support the integrity of the operatingsystem and environment supportingour Maryland-based partner.System Administrator (SA) Level IIprovidessupport for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Essential Job Functions
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems; manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems. ProvideTier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification,diagnosis,and resolution of problems;optimizesystem operations and resourceutilization, andperform system capacity analysis and planning. Providesupport to IT systems including day-to-day operations,monitoringand problem resolution forallthe client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers; provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets. Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems andremainsinvolved in the resolution process. Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Minimum Required Qualifications
Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required toaccess;U.S. Citizenship is required. Bachelor’sdegree ina technicaldiscipline from an accredited college or university isrequired. Must haveten (10)yearof experienceas a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Five (5) years of additional System Administrative experience may besubstitutedfor aBachelor’sdegree. CWIP/DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2. 3+ years CWIP IAT experience. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MSCA) ORRedhatCertified Engineer (RHCE) certified. Required Security Clearance:TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Poly.
