Motiva is wholly owned by Aramco, one of the world’s largest integrated energy and chemicals companies.**Position Overview:**Reporting to the Motiva Product Quality and Compliance Manager, the **Fuels Regulatory Compliance Analyst** is a vital part of the Motiva Stakeholder Relations Department, offering support across all lines of business. The primary responsibility is to provide comprehensive fuel compliance support across Motiva's diverse business units. This role plays a key function in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and fostering a culture of compliance within the organization. This role is based at One Allen Center in downtown Houston, TX.**Responsibilities:*** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to compile data for quarterly and annual EPA reporting.* Develop, update, and maintain compliance processes and standards to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.* Engage with consultants to complete attest engagements and prepare compliance reports.* Assist in enhancing and creating compliance training programs to foster a culture of regulatory awareness.* Participate in meetings with refinery staff to facilitate the achievement of fuels compliance goals and gain insights into the business.* Monitor fuel regulations, specifications, and testing requirements, modifying work processes and providing training for business units on revised requirements.* Contribute to the review of new business opportunities, advising on compliance issues to support informed decision-making.* Provide support to product quality and product stewardship team members on special projects.* Travel to the Port Arthur Manufacturing Complex as required and attend various industry conferences and training courses.**Experience and Qualifications:****Required Education and Experience:*** Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Science, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.* 3+ years of relevant work experience, with a focus on regulatory compliance and reporting in the fuel industry.* Strong record-keeping, problem-solving, and organizational skills.* Excellent collaboration skills, demonstrating the ability to coordinate activities across various departments.* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.* Excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with effective oral and written communication abilities.* Proven ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments to consistently meet deadlines.* Skilled in the effective use of Microsoft Excel.**Preferred Education and Experience:*** 5+ years of fuel regulatory experience in the oil and gas industry.* In-depth knowledge of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations, including the Fuels Regulatory Streamlining Rule and the Renewable Fuels Standard.* Experience with Quarterly and Annual Reporting with EPA or other federal/state agencies.* Familiarity of the fuels industry, encompassing refining and distributionWe reserve the right to amend or withdraw Motiva jobs at any time, including prior to the closing date.
