This role encompasses comprehensive transition planning, including job search and application support and coordination of independent living, community integration, emotional and physical wellness, and social engagement. The Transition-to-Work Coordinator serves as a strategic liaison between students and their support networks—including the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), families, residential providers, benefits counselors, and employers—ensuring collaboration and person-centered planning throughout the transition process.

This position advances Regis University’s mission through the Jesuit value of Cura Personalis, or care for the whole person, by providing holistic, individualized support. The coordinator will empower students to become engaged community members and men and women for others.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled relationship builder committed to inclusion, with strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.

Please note that this position is contingent upon TIPSID grant funding. Employment for the duration of the grant (five years from October 1, 2025) is not guaranteed.Major Duties and Responsibilities:**Transition Planning & Coordination*** Develops and facilitates person-centered transition plans in collaboration with students and their support networks, including the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), families, residential providers, benefits counselors, employers, and community partners* Connects students and families to relevant community resources and support services to ensure student support post-graduation**Employment Support*** Guides students through job search and application processes for post-graduation employment**Independent Living & Wellness Planning*** Collaborates with students to identify and coordinate independent or residential living options that match their preferences and support needs* Develops individualized strategies with students for maintaining physical and emotional wellness post-graduation* Facilitates opportunities and strategies for meaningful social engagement and community integration beyond college**Other*** Communicates regularly with stakeholders to ensure coordinated, student-centered support throughout the transition process* Maintains alumni network through outreach, outcomes assessment, and inclusive social programming* Oversees Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs) for GLOBAL Inclusive Program students, utilizing person-centered planning to monitor progress* Other duties as assignedWorking Conditions:This position is based in an office setting and follows the University’s standard business hours. A substantial on-campus presence is required.**Required Qualifications:*** Bachelor's degree in special education, Psychology, Human Services, Rehabilitation Services, Disability Studies, Social Work, or related field* Experience working with people with disabilities* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, excellent written and verbal communication, high attention to detail and strong organizational skills, commitment to inclusive practices**Preferred: (Any of these would be helpful!)*** Certified Transition to Work Coordinator (CTS) or Employment Support Professional (CESP) certification* Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities and knowledge of adult service systems (ex: DVR, SSI/SSDI, Medicaid)* Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs**Special Instructions to Applicants:**
