We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient

Salesforce Developer

to play a critical role in evolving and stabilizing our Salesforce platform. This position requires deep expertise across the entire Salesforce Customer 360 platform, with a strong focus on high-governance operational processes, complex integrations, and the modernization of our sales and service organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Platform Mastery:

Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable custom solutions utilizing

Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL . Ensure all development adheres to architectural standards and best practices within our established, high-volume environment.

Sales & Service Excellence:

Drive technical improvements across the entire customer lifecycle, specifically focusing on the implementation and optimization of

Sales Cloud

and

Service Cloud .

Contact Center & Digital Modernization:

Serve as the technical expert for

Service Cloud Voice

using

AWS & Amazon Connect

and

Digital Engagement , enhancing our omni-channel contact center capabilities, including advanced

Case Management & Omni-Channel routing

implementation.

Sales Productivity:

Develop and support features within

Sales Engagement

to maximize the productivity and efficiency of our internal sales teams.

Complex Custom Integrations:

Design, implement, and maintain secure, real-time custom integrations with internal and external systems, including key integration points like

Slack , our internal platform, and numerous systems leveraging REST APIs.

DevOps & Environment Management:

Act as a champion for robust DevOps practices, managing and optimizing our

CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins . Lead and execute challenging, large-scale

sandbox refresh processes

to ensure environment integrity and accurate data for development and testing.

Security & Compliance:

Ensure all solutions meet stringent internal and external

Salesforce Security

standards, implementing best practices for data handling, access controls, and compliance.

Tooling & Collaboration:

Utilize development lifecycle tools such as

JIRA

for task tracking and contribute to business intelligence by ensuring data quality for reporting in platforms like

Looker .

Admin Support:

Possess Salesforce Administrator skills, perform daily admin functions

SF Bug Ticket Queue

- troubleshooting, resolving bugs, issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

3+ years of hands‑on, enterprise‑level Salesforce development experience, preferably in a complex or legacy Salesforce organization.

Technical Stack Expertise:

Expert proficiency in

Apex

(triggers, classes),

LWC , Flow development, and highly customized Visualforce pages.

Cloud Depth:

Strong familiarity with the data models and technical configuration of

Sales Cloud

and

Service Cloud .

Specialized Product Knowledge:

Demonstrated experience implementing or significantly customizing

Service Cloud Voice

using

AWS & Amazon Connect

and

Sales Engagement/Digital Engagement

products.

Integration Knowledge:

Proven track record building and managing complex, highly customized

REST API integrations , and experience integrating with communication tools like

Slack .

DevOps & Operations:

Expert in CI/CD pipeline management using

GitHub and Jenkins , and extensive experience successfully planning and executing complex, high‑stakes

sandbox refresh processes .

Security Focus:

Deep understanding of the Salesforce security model (OWD, sharing rules, profiles/permission sets).

Low Code ie Flow building and code -

Apex . VF, LWC, SOQL/SOSL

Nice to Haves

Salesforce Platform Developer I or II Certifications.

Experience in an e‑commerce or high‑end marketplace environment.

Working knowledge of BI and reporting methodologies using tools like

Looker .

Total Compensation Statement

1stDibs views the value of the employees’ compensation package in its totality. The package may comprise base salary, variable compensation (either equity or cash, where applicable), and health and work‑life benefits, and is reviewed annually. Ultimately, we’ll determine your pay based on your location, experience, and other job‑related factors.

Benefits (US based positions)

We are flexible with our PTO. We generally expect employees take around 15 days/year.
