The Microsoft Dynamics & Power Platform Developer is responsible for building, enhancing, and supporting the organization’s Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure environments.
Requirements This mid‑to‑senior‑level role requires deep expertise in Dynamics customization, Power Automate, Power Pages, CRM administration, and Azure AD identity/security. The developer leads CRM governance, automation, integrations, diagnostics, and role‑based access modeling.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred (IT, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar)
Equivalent experience absolutely acceptable
Certifications (preferred)
Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200)
Power Platform App Maker (PL-100)
Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM)
Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) – optional but valuable
Years of Experience
3–7 years working with Dynamics 365 (CRM)
Power Automate (medium–advanced flows)
Power Pages
Azure AD / Microsoft 365 administration
Key Responsibilities
Customize and maintain Dynamics 365 entities, fields, forms, views, and business logic.
Design, build, and manage Power Automate workflows for automation and system integration.
Develop and administer Power Pages including secure forms, authentication, and data connectivity.
Manage Dynamics and Azure AD security roles, field‑level security, and identity governance.
Diagnose and resolve complex CRM issues including plugin, flow, and integration errors.
Oversee CRM governance, change control, documentation, and lifecycle management.
Support integrations across Dynamics, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure Functions.
Provide Tier 3 support for escalated Microsoft 365 and Azure identity issues.
Manage Dev/Test/Production environments including solution deployment and versioning.
Gather business requirements and translate them into technical enhancements and automation.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve system efficiency.
