Overview
General Summary:
Performs physical examinations of patients, assessment and treatment of injuries or illnesses for pediatric patients.
Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc.
Independent and collaborative medical management of acute and chronic conditions.
Monitors the patient's course of treatment and makes appropriate referral to either a physician or specialist, as needed.
Collaborates with providers and staff, as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff.
Combination of outpatient in person visits as well as virtual visits.
Displays a caring and professional attitude at all time as well as maintaining personal and professional growth.
Schedule Details
Primary Schedule: Tuesday (8-5pm), Thursday (8-5pm), Friday (8-4pm) potential for Saturday morning and additional coverage.
Primary Location: Winter Garden (15502 Stoneybrook West Pkwy Suite 114, Winter Garden, FL 34787).
Opportunity to pick up additional hours when needed at Apopka, Winter Garden, College Park, Lake Mary, Orange City and Orlando.
Knowledge and Skills Required
Strong medical decision-making and communication skills.
Enthusiastic team player.

Flexible, adaptable to change.
Education and Experience Required
Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
Minimum of 5 years pediatric experience.
Licensure, Certification, and Registration Required
Current, valid Florida APRN or PA-C license.
ANCC, AANP, PNP‑PC/AC, or NCCPA (or equivalent) certification.
Current BLS required.
Hospital Description AdventHealth Winter Garden, a part of AdventHealth Orlando, opened in 2016 as a state-of-the‑art emergency facility featuring board‑certified physicians trained in the care of both adults and children. AdventHealth Winter Garden opened its new inpatient tower in May 2022, a $229.5 million expansion which brings critical services to the fast‑growing West Orange community.
