AdventHealth Medical Group Pediatrics at Winter Garden/Apopka – APRN or PA Part‑Time Position
This opportunity invites an experienced APRN or PA to provide comprehensive pediatric care in a part‑time capacity, with a mix of in‑person and virtual visits.
Responsibilities
Performs physical examinations of patients and assesses and treats injuries or illnesses for pediatric patients.
Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests such as routine laboratory work, X‑ray, and other imaging.
Provides independent and collaborative medical management of acute and chronic conditions.
Monitors the patient’s course of treatment and makes appropriate referrals to physicians or specialists as needed.
Collaborates with providers and staff as necessary to deliver consistent care and support for staff.
Conducts a combination of outpatient in‑person visits and virtual visits.
Exhibits a caring and professional attitude at all times while maintaining personal and professional growth.
Schedule Details
Primary Schedule: Tuesday (8‑5 pm), Thursday (8‑5 pm), Friday (8‑4 pm) with potential Saturday morning and additional coverage.
Primary Location: Winter Garden (15502 Stoneybrook West Pkwy Suite 114, Winter Garden, FL 34787).
Opportunities to pick up additional hours at Apopka, Winter Garden, College Park, Lake Mary, Orange City, and Orlando.
Knowledge and Skills Required
Strong medical decision‑making and communication skills.

Education and Experience Required
Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
Minimum of 5 years of pediatric experience.
Licensure, Certification, and Registration Required
Current, valid Florida APRN or PA‑C license.
ANCC, AANP, PNP‑PC/AC, or NCCPA (or equivalent) certification.
Current BLS certification.
Hospital Description AdventHealth Winter Garden, part of AdventHealth Orlando, opened in 2016 and became a state‑of‑the‑art emergency facility featuring board‑certified physicians trained in adult and child care. The new inpatient tower, opened May 2022, includes 80 private rooms and expanded services such as orthopedics, gynecology, cardiology, gastroenterology, surgery, neurology, spine health, colorectal, and urology.
Community Description AdventHealth Winter Garden is located in a vibrant area of Winter Garden, close to homes, downtown, shopping, schools, parks, and cultural attractions. The region offers numerous recreational opportunities, including parks, beaches, and multiple universities and colleges.
