Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience and telemetry skills for a critical care role.
Responsibilities
Position is in a 10-bed ICU providing care for critically unstable adult medical/surgical patients
Patient population includes those with acute coronary syndrome and unstable hemodynamics
RN-to-patient ratio is 2:1 or 1:1 based on patient acuity and RN experience
12-hour rotating day shifts with every other weekend required
Rotating holiday shifts
Unit utilizes advanced cardiac monitoring systems and critical care equipment
Responsibilities include continuous assessment, monitoring, and rapid intervention for patients with life-threatening conditions
Must work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive critical care
Supportive team environment emphasizing total patient care and family support
First time travelers are not specifically precluded from consideration
Requirements
Active NH or Compact RN license with proof of state residency
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 1.5 years recent ICU experience, including telemetry and Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last two years
CCRN certification is preferred
No local candidates; must live at least 75 miles from the facility
