Job Title: RIA Insurance Consultant Work Location: Onsite or Remote Employment Type: Full Time Reports to: EVP, Insurance Solutions Position Summary We are seeking a consultative, highly credible Life Insurance consultant to support and grow distribution within the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) marketplace. This individual will partner directly with fiduciary advisors to consult on client cases, deliver point-of-sale expertise, and support the responsible adoption of insurance strategies within fee-based or insurance-aware wealth management practices. This role focuses on education, case design, and client-meeting support for best-available solutions. This role requires a sophisticated understanding of planning, tax considerations, and fiduciary advisory selling.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point-of-sale specialist supporting advisors on client situations through planning, product design, and implementation guidance. Product lines included traditional commission-based life insurance products, commission free IUL and VUL, Long Term Care and Disability.

Conduct virtual advisor and client meetings to explain insurance solutions, concepts, and value-driven outcomes aligned with fiduciary standards.

Translate planning concepts (estate planning, income replacement, business succession, HNW strategies, ) into clear, client-focused solutions.

Build deep, consultative relationships with RIAs, fee-only advisors, hybrid advisors, and wealth management platforms.

Drive education around insurance as a planning tool, positioning solutions within broader financial, estate, tax, and retirement strategies.

Deliver case analysis including illustration support, product comparisons, and advanced planning scenarios involving trusts, business planning, retirement income, or HNW strategies.

Partner with internal and client teams to support efficient, compliant case execution.

Conduct webinars, CE sessions, and educational workshops tailored to the advisor business model.

Support marketing and content development to elevate brand presence with RIAs and wealth platforms.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Economics, or related field; CFP®, CLU®, ChFC® or similar credentials preferred.

5+ years' experience in life insurance wholesaling, advanced planning, or consultative case design.

Strong knowledge of life insurance planning concepts, including estate planning, tax mitigation, business, and executive benefits planning, and HNW casework.

Deep knowledge of Variable products and their applications including advisory (fee only) VUL.

Demonstrated ability to work in a fee-based, fiduciary, or RIA‑aligned model (not transactional sales).

Excellent client-facing communication skills, both virtual and in person.

State life/health insurance license and securities registration required. (Series 6/7, 63)
