Edgewood Tahoe Resort
The Night Auditor at Edgewood Tahoe Resort is responsible for overseeing the resort’s front desk operations during overnight hours. This role involves balancing financial transactions, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining security, and preparing reports for management. The Night Auditor provides a smooth transition between business days and ensures the accuracy of the hotel’s financial records.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional guest service by assisting with late check‑ins, early departures, and guest inquiries.
Ensure all guests are greeted warmly and any special requests are met with professionalism.
Address guest concerns and resolve any issues promptly.
Perform nightly audits of the day’s financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and payments.
Reconcile guest accounts, process charges, and verify revenue postings.
Prepare end‑of‑day reports and ensure all financial records are balanced.
Ensure the safety and security of guests and resort property during overnight hours.
Oversee late‑night housekeeping or maintenance requests and coordinate with relevant departments.
Ensure all operational standards are upheld to maintain the resort’s luxury experience.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
Qualifications and Skills
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Previous experience as a Night Auditor, Front Desk Agent, or in a hospitality role preferred.
Strong understanding of hotel and resort operations, particularly in luxury settings.
Proficiency in hotel management systems (PMS) and financial reconciliation.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of accounting procedures and financial auditing.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 40 lbs.
Able to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
