Associate Analyst, Investment Credit Research As an Associate Analyst, Investment Credit Research, you will play a key role in monitoring the financial health of Empower's investment portfolio. You'll dig into company performance data, evaluate trends, and turn your findings into clear, actionable insights. Your hands‑on work—analyzing statements, preparing credit reviews, and collaborating across teams—helps identify potential risks and supports sound investment decisions that protect our customers and business.

What you will do:

Complete annual credit reviews for portfolio companies on schedule

Analyze financial and sustainability data from internal and external sources

Collaborate with senior analysts to form and communicate credit opinions

Manage your own workflow and help refine team processes for quality control

Track compliance and maintain data within credit systems

Partner with teams across regions to share insights

Contribute to new investment reviews and special projects as needed

What you will bring:

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, mathematics, or equivalent experience

1-2 years of experience in credit or data analysis preferred

Working knowledge of financial statement analysis

Strong business writing and communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

What will set you apart:

Experience using Bloomberg or Capital IQ

Progress toward the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation

Familiarity with Access or other database tools

Interest in sustainable finance and portfolio risk management

Base Salary Range $81,700 – $115,450
