Interstate and intrastate travel is required to include overnight stays. An Assistant, Football Analyst or Senior Football Analyst will be hired based on experience, qualifications and candidate selected for the position.## PurposeAssists Coaching staff with game planning and strategy to ensure high quality plays and practice.## Responsibilities* Responsible for identifying weaknesses in plays and suggest new strategies to coaching staff in practice. Responsible for overall game day preparation, statistical analysis, video analysis of opposing teams. Analyze opposing team strategy, chart tendencies and propose strategic plays. Analyze film data on current team and opponents and provide summary report and analysis to coaching staff and players* Assist with the coordination of daily administrative support, statistical analyses and opponent preparation within the University of Texas Football Program. This includes, but is not limited to: The coordination of video cutups and distribution of preliminary offensive, defensive, and special teams scouting reports.* Assist self scouting offensive, defensive and special team's schemes. Support the walk on program with their research of prospective student athletes.* Travel with coaching staff and team to provide statistical support.* Assist with special projects assigned by the Defensive Coordinator, Offensive Coordinator and Head Football Coach.* May drive a personal, UT, or rental vehicle on and off campus.* Other duties as assigned* Consistently exemplify the core values and quality service standards of Texas Athletics. Report knowledge of, or reasonable cause to believe, violation(s) of state or federal laws, policies, rules, or regulations of the University, Conference, or NCAA to IA ARMCS or IA HR. Fully cooperate with any investigation by providing complete and accurate information when requested to do so by Texas Athletics and/or the NCAA and do not influence others in any way during an investigation. Ability to project the image of the University of Texas and the Athletics Department with dignity and grace regardless of circumstances and environments. Ability to communicate effectively.

Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills to enhance interaction with student-athletes, peers, alumni, administrative personnel, and the community.## Preferred QualificationsExtensive and exceptional experience as a Student-Athlete or as a staff member with Division I collegiate athletics football program.## Driving RequiredThis job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provided a current three year driving record from the current state of residence.
