What Health Physicist (Quality Compliance) contributes to Cardinal Health Quality develops and implements quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications.

Health Physics provides support and consulting to nuclear pharmacies, manufacturing facilities, medical and non‑medical facilities, for the safe use of radioactive materials and radiation producing machines, to enable compliant company and customer business operations. This job family develops, deploys, implements, and trains on health physics and radiation safety policies, procedures, and programs. Health physics engages in licensing, packaging design, auditing, facility and equipment testing, emergency response, and other regulatory activities.

Shift/Schedule

1st shift hours

7:00am – 3:30pm

Must be flexible to help on 2nd shift or weekends if needed

Responsibilities

Displays effective communication skills

EHS experience

Knowledge of regulations (DOT, NRC, etc.)

Radioactive Material Handling Experience

Confidence with Radiation Detection Instrumentation

Ability to adapt to new process changes and access Radiation Safety Impact.

Qualifications

4-8 years of experience, preferred

Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

2-4 years of Radioactive Material Handling Experience

Preferred: Experience working with radiopharmaceuticals is a plus.

Anticipated salary range: $80,900 - $115,500
