Inova Alexandria hospital is looking for an experienced Perianesthesia (PACU) Nurse for a full time Day Shift Weekender position. Inova’s Perianesthesia RNs work pre and post op; Phase 1 and 2. Must be able to work full time: three consecutive 12‑hour shifts (Fri‑Sat‑Sun or Sat‑Sun‑Mon), totaling 72 hours per pay period. There is a premium weekend differential for this schedule.

The OR is equipped with 11 surgical suites. Comprehensive range of surgical specialties to include, orthopedics – total joints, sports medicine, spine, general surgery, ENT, gynecology, urology, plastics, vascular, neurosurgery, podiatry, and maxillofacial.

BLS healthcare provider certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required at hire.
1+ years of PACU experience to include Pre‑Op, Phase 1 and 2 recovery.
2+ years of critical care nursing (ICU/ED).
