Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with Level 1 trauma experience and Epic charting proficiency for a day shift assignment in Illinois.
Responsibilities
Work in an intensive care unit (ICU) hospital setting
Care for critically ill adult patients in a Level 1 trauma environment
Day shifts, 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, three days per week
Uses Epic EMR; prior experience required
No local candidates permitted within a 50-mile radius
Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for critically ill patients
Must complete initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Expected to modify care plans based on ongoing evaluation and patient needs
Support a collaborative team-based work environment
RTO (time off) not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract
Employees may not be continuously assigned for more than one year without a six-month break before returning
No travel partners accepted
Requirements
Active Illinois RN license or temporary permit required
Minimum of one year recent relevant ICU experience, with three years preferred
Associate’s degree in nursing (ASN) requiredCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
Documented Level 1 trauma experience required
Epic charting experience required
