Clinical Lead Specialist
who will play a pivotal role in expanding and strengthening our clinical education network. In this position, you’ll build and nurture relationships with clinic and hospital administrators to develop high-quality clinical rotation sites across Iowa and surrounding states, maintain strong partnerships through ongoing communication and site visits, and serve as the primary liaison ensuring accurate data management for CHS programs in alignment with accreditation and assessment standards.
What you’ll do:
Develop and expand clinical education partnerships by identifying prospective rotation and fieldwork sites, meeting with key administrators, and initiating affiliation agreements for CHS programs.
Strengthen and maintain existing site relationships through regular communication, site visits (in-person and virtual), and a partnership approach that emphasizes long‑term, relational collaboration.
Manage student placement processes by utilizing health education systems (such as Exxat), coordinating onboarding requirements, and ensuring accurate, timely data management.
Evaluate and monitor clinical site quality by participating in site evaluations, analyzing rotation and fieldwork data, and preparing reports for accreditation, assessment, and program leadership.
Collaborate across DMU departments to enhance clinical partnership visibility, support program needs, contribute to marketing materials, and participate in university‑wide initiatives and required training.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree required
Health care related experience preferred.
